I'm a 3rd year student of Computer Science and Engineering and an Incoming SDE Intern at Royal Bank of Scotland. Fascinated by the applications of AI, I am currently pursuing research work in the field of Computer Vision and acting as a Teaching Assistant for DBMS. I am adept in UI/UX designing, incorporating principles of Human Computer Interaction. Curious about Cloud Computing, I have designed and deployed cloud based solutions on Azure. An avid researcher, I am open to any research internship positions, focusing on Machine Learning and Computer Vision.

Mentor: Rajagopalan Srinivasan (Assistant Professor, Dept. of Physiology and Biomedical Imaging, Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, USA), Susan Elias (School of Electronics Engineering, Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai, India).

  • Studying 600+ CT volumes of COVID 19 infected patients using tools like ITK Snap and Slicer 3D to extract parameters that can be used to diagnose a patient.

Segmentation of Tomato Bacterial Spots

AUG 2020 - DEC 2020

Mentor: Sofana Reka S ( School of Electronics Engineering, Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai, India).

  • Manually collected a dataset of 160 images of infected tomatoes with bacterial spots and created binary masks using Adobe Photoshop.
  • Proposed a VGG-16 modified segmentation architecture to train the dataset and achieved 99.3% accuracy.

Semantic Segmentation for Plant Phenotyping using Advanced Deep Learning Pipelines
